Women's tennis opened the season with two losses. On Saturday, Castleton squeaked by with a 5-4 win over the Badgers followed by a 6-3 loss to Cedar Crest the following day.

Notable performances came from Kali Covell, who won both her #4 singles matches and from #1 doubles team Deanna Brandstetter and Annette Kaminski who also won both doubles matches. Shelly Mainus battled at #2 singles on Sunday and came out with a 9-7 proset win. 

The Badgers are 0-2 on the young season and are gearing up for another home match on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 4:00p against Western New England University.
