MANCHESTER, N.H. — The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's track and field team traveled to Manchester, New Hampshire on Saturday to compete at the 2nd Annual Penmen Relays hosted by Southern New Hampshire University.

Sophomore Ellery Kiefer (Wayland, Ma.) led the Badgers in shot put and javelin, finishing in 32nd and 38th in the events. Mariah Ramos (Lebanon, N.H.) threw 23.30 meters in discus to finish 36th for Johnson. In running events, junior Emily Cass (Braintree, Vt.) finished the women's mile run with a time of 7:09. The women's 1600 sprint medley team came in 12th with a time of 5:24.90.

The Badgers will travel to Albany, New York on Saturday, April 20th to compete at the U Albany Spring Classic.
