Green Mountain improved to 5-10 overall and 2-3 in the NAC, Lyndon State is now 3-9 overall and 2-2 in the conference, while Johnson State College stands at 3-10 on the year and 1-3 in the conference. The Spartans of Castleton State fall to 0-15 on the season and 0-5 in NAC action.

The Badgers earned the victory behind the solid all-around play of setter Kylie VanEtten (Montrose, Penn./Elk Lake) who finished with 16 assists, 11 digs, three aces and three kills, and hitter Alex Benlock (West Haven, Conn./Lyman Hall) who finished with nine kills and nine aces.  Jessica Pafumi (Monson, Mass./Monson) added seven kills for the Badgers. Castleton State College sophomore Grace Schreiber was the top offensive performer for the Spartans with seven kills and three aces, while Ruth Tomlinson posted a match high 21 digs in a losing effort.

Green Mountain College 3, Johnson State College 1 (20-25, 25-14, 25-15, 25-18)

Green Mountain College used their size and attacking ability to batter the Johnson State Badgers who refused to go quietly, fighting versus the host Eagles every step of the way. Chanleigh Casey had thirteen kills and eleven digs, while Kara Egan added twelve kills and a team high twenty-one digs. The most impressive performance was freshmen Madison Wage who tallied twenty-eight assists and seven service aces while filling in setting for Green Mountain. Abbie Pridham (Laconia, N.H./Laconia) had a team high six kills from the Badgers and Kylie Van Etten had 13 assists and 15 digs as the Badgers picked up the loss.
