Badgers Fall to Eagles and Mariners

Johnson State women's volleyball dropped two North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contests to Husson (3-0) and Maine Maritime (3-0) in a quad-match hosted by Lyndon State College on Saturday afternoon. The Badgers now stand at 0-19 overall and 0-5 in conference play. The Badgers will wrap up their season when they host Lyndon and Colby-Sawyer next Saturday in Carter Gym for games at 11:00a and 3:00p.

Husson 3, Johnson State 0
Lisa Tapley had seven kills and Kristen Atwood had five kills and three service aces to lead Husson to a 3-0 win over Johnson. The Eagles earned the win by set scores of 25-16, 25-20 and 25-6.
Casey Lopes amassed 18 assists and 10 digs for Husson (9-16, 2-2) while Andrea Williams collected three kills, 12 digs and two blocks for the Badgers (0-19, 0-5).
Maine Maritime 3, Johnson State 0
Gillian O'Neal had 10 kills, three services aces and three digs as Maine Maritime blanked Johnson State 3-0. The Mariners won the match by set scores of 25-8, 25-11 and 25-11.
Becky Trenckman chipped in three kills, 21 assists, one ace and two digs for the winners and Melissa Lail had eight kills, three assists, three aces and two digs.
Andrea Williams had four kills, four digs and three blocks for the Badgers and Anna Bingham added three assists and one services ace.
