Volleyball defeated North Atlantic Conference opponents Lyndon State and Johnson State on Saturday, the Mariners took both victories in three sets. With the losses, the Badgers slide to 4-15 overall and 1-3 in conference play.
Husson 3 - Johnson 0 (25-12, 25-14, 25-16)
The Eagles picked up a NAC victory over the Badgers. Hussonís Kaitlyn Carl led the team with nine digs and seven service aces, and Emma Plouffe added a team-high six kills.
Johnson State was led by Breanna Laughlin and her nine digs and five kills.
Maine Maritime 3 -Johnson State 0 (25-18, 25-19, 25-19)
OíNeal led the Mariners with 12 kills, while Samantha Ryan picked nine digs, and Robertson added nine kills and two block solos. Trenckmann again led the team with 27 assists.
The Badgers were led by Amanda McLean's 11 digs and Breanna Laughlinís nine kills.
The Badgers return to action when they play Castleton and Colby-Sawyer at Lyndon St. for the last two regular season conference matches.
