CASTINE, MAINE – The Johnson State College volleyball team fell to Maine Maritime Academy and Colby-Sawyer in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) tri-match on Saturday.
The Badgers record falls to 2-13 on the season and 1-3 in the conference.
MATCH 1 vs. Colby-Sawyer
The Badgers went down in the first set, 25-11. The Chargers were strong in the second set, winning 25-7. Colby-Sawyer put the Badgers away with a 25-11 third set victory.
STATS LEADERS
Breanna Laughlin (San Jacinto, Calif.) led Johnson with six kills and added eight digs.
MATCH 2 vs. Maine Maritime Academy
The Badgers fell in the first set 25-10. In the second set, MMA mounted a strong offensive effort and took the set 25-13. The Mariners put the match away in the third set with a 25-7 victory.
STATS LEADERS
Laughlin paced the Badgers again with two kills to go along with eight digs.

The Badgers will travel to Norwich on Tuesday for a 7:00 PM non-conference match.
