
NORTHFIELD, VT. – The Johnson State College volleyball team fell to Norwich 3-1 in a non-conference match on Tuesday evening.
The Badgers record falls to 2-14 on the season and are 1-3 in the conference. Norwich improves to 3-9 on the season.
MATCH RECAP
The Badgers fell 25-11 to open the match. The Cadets kept the pressure on, taking the second set 25-11. Johnson mounted stronger offense in the third, but ultimately dropped the set 25-13.
STATS LEADERS
Breanna Laughlin (San Jacinto, Calif.) led Johnson with ten kills and added seven digs. Kaitlin Boucher (Barre, Vt.) led Johnson with nine digs, while Laurel Hubbert-Severance (Hinesburg, Vt.) led the squad with 11 assists.
