JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College volleyball team fell to Norwich University 3-0 in a non-conference match on Thursday night.
SET 1
The Badgers (0-6) kept things close in the beginning of the set, pulling the score to 7-6 early on. Norwich (5-3) pulled away with an 18-3 run to take the first set 25-9.
SET 2
The teams traded points in the early going, with Norwich holding a 9-8 lead before finishing the set with just two more points allowed and earning a 25-10 set win.
SET 3
The Cadets jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead in the third set and cruised to a 25-8 set win for the 3-0 match victory.
STATS LEADERS
Kaitlin Boucher (Barre, Vt.) led Johnson with two kills and two assists, with Kimberly Reville (Burke, N.Y.) adding a kill and five digs.

Johnson will take on Paul Smith's and Old Westbury in a tri-match at Castleton on Saturday, September 16th, with games starting at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
