Knapova, Johnson, Havill Headline All-Conference Honors.

WATERVILLE, ME.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball team had three student-athletes named to the North Atlantic Conference All-Conference team on Friday afternoon.

Nikola Knapova, Lauren Havill and Porsche Johnson earned All-Conference honors announced Friday. Knapova was named a First Team All-Conference selection, while Havill and Johnson were voted to Second Team All-Conference. Knapova is a complete volleyball player and stood out offensively, defensively, receiving, and from the service line for the Badgers. This is the second time in her career that Knapova has earned NAC First Team All-Conference.

 Knapova Conference Statistics:

·         #1 Outside hitter in the North Atlantic Conference only stats for hitting percentage (.228) and points per set (3.8).

·         #2 points per set in conference stats regardless of position.

·         #4 conference total attempts (119)

·         #8 overall for conference hitting efficiency regardless of position.  

·         #4 overall kills per set in the conference only stats (2.16).

·         #2 in the nation for aces per set (.95). Aces per set in conference (1.58).

·         #5 total conference digs (50). #8 conference digs per set (2.63)

·         Receives in every rotation with Knapova in the middle of the Badger receive in five rotations. (108 conference serve receptions). Conference receive (94%) with a (2.42 rating)

Knapova currently sits second all-time in kills at NVU-Johnson.

Porsche Johnson had a fantastic year from start to finish and affected the game in numerous ways. She was a standout from the front row and service line and made a strong impact on defense and in the receive for the Badgers.

·         4th NAC season points per set (3.1); 8th NAC only points per set (2.7)

·         5th NAC season aces per set (.72); 8th NAC only aces per set (.84)

·         8th NAC season blocks per set (.41); 9th NAC only blocks per set (.42)

·         3rd NAC season hitting percentage (.271); 11th NAC only hitting percentage (.215)

·         6th NAC season kills per set (2.04); NAC only kills per set (1.58)

·         .79 digs per set with only a half rotation in the back row.

Havill made strong contributions for the Badgers and typically saw six rotations per set for the Badgers. This season Havill had an impactful contribution from multiple positions. 

·         #1 NAC only total kills (52)

·         #2 NAC only kills/set (2.74)

·         #13 Aces per set (.58)

·         #4 NAC only points per set (3.4)

·         NAC only passed a (2.1) on (81) receptions

 

Calleen Ferris was also named to the NAC Sportsmanship Team.
