Cecilia Havens Commits to Women's Volleyball for 2020 Season

JOHNSON, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball program and Head Coach have received and additional commitment for the upcoming 2020 season.

Cecilia Havens a native of Carson City, Michigan and a member of the Carson City-Crystal High School varsity girls' volleyball program has signed the necessary paperwork and committed to NVU-Johnson for the fall of 2020. When arrived at Northern Vermont University-Johnson Havens plans to pursue a degree in Biology with a focus on Pre-Med.

"I chose NVU-Johnson to be a part of a program and university that I am passionate about and fits me the best." Said Havens. "I could not be more excited to join such a welcoming and hardworking volleyball team. I am also very excited to compete for Coach John, his knowledge of the game and willingness to work with me makes me very eager to be part of the program." 

On the court the 5-foot 7-inch Havens competed for Airstrike VBC on the club circuit, Airstrike VBC is a club out of Ionia, Michigan. 

Head Coach Keven John is excited about the addition of Havens and hopes she will provide depth for the Badgers this upcoming season. 

The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball program and Head Coach Keven John plans to announce additional commitments for the 2020 roster in the upcoming weeks.
