Women's Volleyball Earn Commitment From Julia Sadlon

JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball program and Head Coach Keven John recently tabbed an additional recruit for the 2021 season.

Julia Sadlon has signed the necessary paperwork and will arrive at NVU-Johnson in the fall of 2021. When arrived, Sadlon plans to pursue a degree in Psychology.

"I learned about NVU-Johnson from Coach John and was immediately interested," said Sadlon. "I was looking to move somewhat far from home, to experience a new place, and was hoping to play volleyball. I was also looking for a smaller school in a small town. NVU-Johnson offers me all of these things and was just the perfect fit for me."

A native of Franklin, North Carolina, Sadlon is finishing up her high school career at Rabun Gap Nacoochee School where she has earned both honors and high honors as a student in the classroom. On the volleyball court, Sadlon earned team MVP and was named captain in her senior season.

"I am so excited to play for Coach John. He seems like a great coach who is committed to his players and their success. I am very excited to learn from him and experience college volleyball. I am also very excited to join a new volleyball family. It's going to be very different moving to Vermont from North Carolina but being in a family through volleyball will make the transition easier. I can't wait to meet the team and experience my first college practices and games with them."

Sadlon becomes the first commitment announced for the NVU-Johnson women's volleyball program for the fall of 2021 and Head Coach Keven John is looking forward to adding to the depth of the 2021 class. The women's volleyball program plans to announce additional commitments in the near future.
