Women's Volleyball Adds Alana Lewis for 2021 Season

JOHNSON, Vt.-The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball program and Head Coach Keven John have announced an additional commitment for the 2021 season. 

Alana Lewis has signed the necessary paperwork and has made her commitment to Northern Vermont University-Johnson for the 2021 season. When arrived at NVU-Johnson, Lewis plans to pursue a degree in anthropology and sociology and will also minor in creative writing. 

Lewis a native of Omaha, Nebraska and is a student-athlete at Concordia Junior Senior High School where she earned her varsity letter in the sport of volleyball. 

"I chose NVU-Johnson because of the school size and overall location in northern Vermont. I am excited to pursue my degree and the major I was interested in was an important reason for applying to the institution."

Lewis is also very excited to compete for Coach John. "I'm very excited to play for this new coaching staff. Coach John seems very nice and I look forward to seeing what I can add to the program. Northern Vermont University-Johnson is very far from home but it's going to be a new experience that I am grateful for and I still have the opportunity to compete in the sport of volleyball."

Head Coach Keven John plans to announce additional commitments in the near future for the upcoming 2021 season.
