JOHNSON, Vt.- The Northern Vermont University-Johnson women's volleyball team hosted Norwich University on Friday evening in Carter Gymnasium to conclude the 2021 season.

The Badgers dropped the first two sets of the evening by scores of 25-12 and 25-15 before stealing the third set by a score of 26-24. The cadets capitalized in the final set by a score of 25-19 to secure the match.

Kira Atkinson was the leader for the Badgers with nine kills and 10 digs. Natalia Medina and Christina Betham each added seven kills for the Badgers, while Porsche Johnson contributed six kills. On the defense end it was Bella Baragona and Jimmi Lynn Williams who racked up digs. Baragona earned a match high 18 digs and Williams contributed 11.

With the loss the Badgers close out the 2021 season with a record of 1-4 and Norwich improves to 2-0 on the year.
