In their second matchup Friday evening against the Wildcats, the Badgers played one heck of a game in the 5-set matchup. The Badgers started off strong in the first set with Max Ludlow hitting the wildcats with a 4-point serving streak straight out of the gate, putting the Badgers off to a good start. This momentum carried the Badgers throughout the rest of the first set and led the Badgers to take the first set against the Wildcats.

The tides turned for the Badgers in the second set when the wildcats came out strong with a service ace. The wildcats put the pedal to the medal and kept the momentum up throughout the entirety of the second set. Ultimately the badgers failed to keep up to pace and lost the set to the Wildcats 22-24.

Although they started strong in the 3rd set, the Badgers struggled to keep the lead after Bradshaw, Michaela put the ball to the floor and evened the score out 7-7. The Badgers got scrappy with the Wildcats and tailed not far behind, but unfortunately, it wasn't enough to prevent the Wildcats from taking the 3rd set.

In the 4th set, the Badgers put the Wildcats to the test to see if they could handle the heat. Though both teams fought hard to catch wind in the beginning, the Badgers triumphed. After tying up at 6-6, Christina Betham led the charge of attack, totaling 5 kills in the set with Max Ludlow following closely behind with 4.

The Badgers came to seal the deal in the 5th and final set against the Wildcats. With 7 assists and two kills just in the final set, Mason Lores kept the Wildcats on their toes. The Badgers played scrappy, and in striving for the win, the Badgers came out on top, winning the 5th and final set of the game to take home the W.
