LYNDONVILLE,Vt.-The Northern Vermont-Johnson women's cross-country team competed in the Vermont State Meet on Saturday. 

 Junior Emily Cass (Braintree,Vt.) and senior Sarah Sodaro (Monkton,Vt.) had the best finishes for the Badgers. Cass finished with a time of 30:44 while Sodaro was right behind her finishing with a time of 30:54. Freshman Jenna Knight (Springfield,Vt.) finished with a time of 34:44. Kandice Monteiro was the last runner to finish and finished with a time of 35:12.

 The Badgers will run in the SUNY Canton Kangaroo Invitational on Saturday, October 6.
