Johnson, Vermont — Northern Vermont University (NVU) is thrilled to share that NVU Athletics raised $38,949—nearly 30% above its goal—during the second annual Support Your Sport Campaign. The campaign broke last year’s record, doubling both the dollars raised and the number of donors.

This past week the Badgers teamed up with the Coalition of Minority Student-Athletes, and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee in an effort to get all student-athletes and athletic staff registered to vote.

With the November 3rd election day approaching, the NVU-Johnson Athletics Department is focusing on voter registration, voter education, and voter participation for all student-athletes, coaches, and staff for the general election, state elections and local elections. Included here are resources to promote voter awareness and access to education regarding state-by-state voter opportunities.

JOHNSON, Vt.-The 2020 BATTLE OF THE BADGERS concluded first round matchups Friday evening. In just four days a total of 756 votes were registered. The remaining eight Badgers will compete in Round Two of the BATTLE OF THE BADGERS beginning Sunday, April 12 running through Friday, April 17 at 11:59pm.
