Badgers Tame Lions with 92-46 Win

Johnson State cruised past The King's College 92-46 in the first game of the afternoon at the ENC Holiday Classic Tournament. Johnson advances to 2-1 on the season overall and 0-0 in North Atlantic Conference play. 

Josh Reed led the Badgers with a game-high 24 points off the bench while Asim Khan finished with 15 points and pulled down five rebounds in the Badgers' winning effort.
The Lions were led by Joshua Rivera with 23 points while Josiah Chapman contributed with 13 points and Jeremiah Gill hauled in a team-best eight boards.
Johnson State used an impressive 21 point run in the middle of the opening stanza to stun King's College. As the teams headed into the half, the Badgers led the Lions 63-24.
In the second period, the Badgers showed no signs of letting up, taking a 50 point lead at one point. The Lions were unable to match Johnson who went 33-63 from the paint, ultimately falling 92-46.
The Badgers will kick off conference play December 4th against Green Mountain College at 5:30p in Carter Gymnasium.
