Farmington, Maine. – The Johnson State College men's basketball team fell to UMaine-Farmington 82-66 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) contest on Friday night.
The Badgers move to 2-3 (1-1 NAC) on the season while Farmington improves to 3-2 (2-0 NAC).
1st HALF
Johnson started out the game with a 9-4 lead just under four minutes into the half until the Beavers went on a 25-7 run to make the score 29-16 with 4:58 left in the first. The Badgers chipped away at Farmington's lead and went into the half down 38-33.
2nd HALF
The Beavers came out of the half on an 8-0 run, giving them a 46-33 advantage with 16:34 left in regulation. Farmington would see its biggest lead at the 5:49 mark with a jump shot to take a 73-50 run. Johnson attempted to close the gap but the Beavers held them off to take the 82-66 victory.
