
JOHNSON, Vt. – The Johnson State College men's basketball team defeated Vermont Technical College 92-67 in a non-conference game on Thursday evening.
The Badgers improve to 5-7 (2-4 NAC) on the season while the Knights move to 9-6 (6-3 YSCC).
1st HALF
The teams traded baskets in the early going before Johnson went on a 10-2 run to take a 15-8 advantage seven minutes in. The Knights hung around over the next four minutes, before Johnson pushed their lead out to 45-22 following a 21-4 to close out the half.
2nd HALF
Johnson held off an early surge over the first six minutes that brought the Knights within 13 at 50-37. The Badgers brought their lead back to 25 with a 12-0 run and cruised the rest of the way for the 92-67 win.
