
BANGOR, Maine – The Johnson State College men's basketball team fell to Husson University 84-50 in a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) game on Saturday afternoon.
The Badgers drop to 7-15 (4-12 NAC) on the season while the Eagles move to 18-5 (14-2 NAC).
1st HALF
The Eagles came out on an 8-2 run over the first three minutes of the game, but the Badgers quickly responded to take an 11-8 lead on a Marqwon Wynn (Wilmington, Del.) three. Husson took back control, going on a 13-2 run to go up 21-13 midway through the period. The Eagles held momentum through the rest of the half, outscoring Johnson 24-9 to take 45-21 advantage going into the break.
2nd HALF
Husson kept on the strong scoring effort, dominating play in the second to take the 84-50 victory.
