In a back and forth contest, the NVU Badgers lost their first game of the season on a buzzer beater ending in the 75-74 loss. With 4.4 seconds left on the clock our Badgers were up 73-74 but the Bryant Stratton-Albany Point Guard, Trent McNeil, hit a corner mid-range jumper over two defenders which he hit at the buzzer.
Raymond Baka led the Badgers with 13 points and 12 rebounds, while All Tournament selection, Maleek View, added 12 points. Our Badgers had a total of six players score in double figures; Romelle Watt (10 pts), Yeskin Walker Williams (10pts), Malik Moore (12 pts), Maleek View (12pts), Raymond Baka (13 pts), and Mohammed Semega led the scorers with 16 points.
The Badgers return to action on Tuesday at home against MCLA and are looking to bounce back with a win. This puts the Badger's season at 3-1.
