Badgers fall in to Middlebury 65 to 57 in a highly competitive match up.
In an exciting game the NVU Badgers showed just how close this program could be from playing with the big boys.
The Badgers took a 33-25 point halftime lead Over pre season 14th Nationally Ranked, Middlebury College, with a brand of stifling defense and an unselfish fast break attack on offense.
The 2nd half was very different as Middlebury was able to find success in the inside with their All American center, Alex Sibelius, who finished with 24 points on an effective 9-14 FG shooting and getting to the foul line 18-26.
Yeskin Walker Williams led the Badgers with a great all around game with 24 points, 12 rebounds and 3 steals. Mohammed Semega was the only other Badger in double figures with 17 points and 8 rebounds
