The visiting Western New England Golden Bears defeated the Johnson State Badgers 9-0 in non-conference action Wednesday evening. The Badgers are 0-3 on the season. 

The Golden Bears swiftly took the doubles contests to give them a 3-0 lead heading into singles play. At No. 3 doubles, Alice Mathews and Jessica Breitweg strategically held Eden Towers and Ashley Fogg to a 9-1 pro-set. 

At the No. 1 and No. 2 spot, Deanna Brandstetter and Annette Kaminski were able to take four games from their opponents, but ultimately couldn't overpower the visitors. 

The Badgers will travel to Green Mountain Saturday for a non-conference match at 1:00p.
